in the booth

If any of you have read my first post, you would have read that my husband and I own our own business. I didn't go into detail back then, but I thought I should share with you all just exactly what that business is! In October of 2011, we officially launched In the Booth - Adelaide; a unique, studio quality photo booth hire service which was previously only available in Queensland and Victoria. It has been such a great experience for us and we are so blessed to be a part of an amazing team of people from all over Australia.

Having previously won ABIA awards in 2010 and 2011, we are thrilled to announce that just recently In the Booth won not one, but two ABIA awards in the Wedding Hire & Special Services catagories for 2012. There is nothing more rewarding to us then knowing our clients have loved our booths just as much as we do.

Our large booths are designed around being the absolute ultimate party starters, with plenty of room to comfortably fit 8 guests in at any one time (and even more). Our fully customizable booths give you the option of black and white or colour images everytime you enter the booth, your choice of backdrop and entrance curtains, and your choice of print template, either designed by us or by you! With a whole range of inclusions, such as unlimited pictures and video messaging, instant double prints, a black leather guest book, a DVD pholio of all the images and videos of the night, and a friendly attendant, all at an extremely competitive price. I guarantee that you and your guests will absolutely love our booths!

golden girl

Following on from my last post, I decided to give nail polish strips a go... my verdict... not bad at all! At first it was a little tricky getting the hang of sticking them on, but by the time I got around to my second hand I found it much easier. They lasted 3-4 days before I decided to peel them off, they easily had a couple more days in them but I needed a change. I'm not sure whether it was just my imagination or not, but one thing I did notice was that when I pulled them off, my nails were longer and stronger, and haven't broken since (I usually break at least one nail a day). I would definitely use them again!

I think these strips are a great alternative to nail varnish, especially for those people like me whose nail polish starts chipping away within hours of applying.

statement nails

I love that nail art has moved past the "long, tacky, fake nail" stereotype and has developed into a nice little fashion inspired trend. Whether it's multi-coloured french or jewel encrusted nails, let your nails be the canvas and create your very own masterpiece...
