Bugaboo Cameleon 3 Review

I get asked by a lot of expectant mummies for my opinion on my pram, the Bugaboo Cameleon 3 so I thought I'd list out a few features and what I like/dislike about it:

Pros:
Very sturdy and durable.
Light and easy to assemble and dismantle.
Excellent steering and very easy to manoeuvre.
Very smooth.
Looks great & comes in an extensive range of changeable colours.
Very large bassinet.
Converts to a push chair.
Adjustable handle height.
Large basket underneath.
Can be cleaned easily.

Cons:
The handle sits at quite an awkward angle which is not adjustable. Puts a bit of strain on wrist.
Although large, the bassinet has a flat base, which didn't suit us very well as Louis hated laying flat on his back. We converted to the push chair in the laid back position at five months so that he could lay at an elevated position.
The brake makes a significantly loud "ping" noise when applied  which can wake up a sleeping baby.
Although it's light and easy to assemble and dismantle, you need to use both hands, so you need to put the baby down before doing so.
You can't really access under carriage basket while the bassinet attachment is on. (However, is very easy to access when switched to the push chair).

In conclusion, I'd give the bugaboo Cameleon3 at least a 4 out of 5 stars. It's a lovely pram with great features. Off memory, the price was approx $1200, although it is a bit expensive, I can see it lasting for a long time.

Hope that helps :)
